The annual selection by The New York Times highlights 52 destinations for travelers in 2025, and Bulgaria has secured a spot among them. The list includes remarkable places such as Greenland, Angola, Abu Dhabi (UAE), Amsterdam, Milan, Osaka, Washington, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, as well as cultural gems like New York’s museums, Los Cabos in Mexico, the Dolomites in Italy, the Lofoten Islands in Norway, Lumbini in Nepal, Toyama and Osaka in Japan, Delphi in Greece, and many more.

The publication recommends Bulgaria as an accessible destination due to its Schengen membership and the country’s plans to adopt the euro as its official currency.
