Plovdiv ranked as the best European Wine Capital for 2025

Plovdiv has been selected as the Best European Wine Capital for 2025. The ranking was conducted by the travel organization European Best Destinations through a survey that gathered votes from over 284,000 people across 82 countries. The Bulgarian city surpassed renowned wine regions such as Bordeaux, La Rioja, and Tuscany.

Additionally, Wine Enthusiast magazine has included Plovdiv and its surrounding region among the top 10 wine tourism destinations in the world.

Every year, Plovdiv attracts hundreds of wine lovers and tourists with some of the most prestigious international events and competitions, including the Digital Wine Communications Conference, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, and Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
